    Deleting files

    Once you have found a space waster and made sure you no longer need it, right-click (Ctrl-click) it and select Show in Finder from the menu. Then delete the file as you normally do in Finder.

    Also you can instantly open any file or folder in Finder by ⌘‑clicking it.

    Be careful when removing files from folders like /System or /Library, because you can accidentally remove files required by the operating system.

    Note that DaisyDisk does not monitor disk changes, so you may have to rescan the disk after deleting, renaming or archiving large files.
