Problems on remote desktop
When you use DaisyDisk on a remote desktop via Screen Sharing, you may find that the app appears “frozen”, or its window is not redrawn properly.
It looks like headless Mac servers do not load graphic drivers that are needed for applications, powered by Core Animation (all of them, not just DaisyDisk). This also seems to happen in background sessions, even on Mac servers with displays. As a result, portions of the UI appear black or do not refresh.
Plugging in an external display solves the problem with headless Macs. You can also try hacks that “emulate” displays, but do it on your risk.
