- DaisyDisk now scans the local snapshots of the APFS file system and displays them inside the “hidden space” area. Now it’s much easier to deal with the hidden space, because the snapshots are often its largest component.

Extended support of the new Apple File System (APFS) on macOS High Sierra, in particular:
- You can now see the "purgeable space" – the disk space taken by system backups and caches, which cannot be scanned, but can now be identified inside the "hidden space".

DaisyDisk 2 is a major upgrade to DaisyDisk 1.x. Most parts of the application have been redesigned, tweaked and improved.
